Boiled wool is a great natural fibre with a felted character permitting a raw edge finish. Boiled wool keeps fresh very easily by airing it regularly. Very low maintenance - spot clean using water and mild detergent if necessary. Dry clean occassionally when deep clean is required. I rarely find the need. These over-sweaters are not worn close to the body. Some customers do handwash/woolwash but there may be some shrinkage.
